EXTENSION TO CONSULTATION PERIOD ON PROPOSED STRATEGIES FOR DIGITAL TERRESTRIAL BROADCASTING, THIRD-GENERATION MOBILE TELEPHONY (UMTS) AND FIXED WIRELESS ACCESS (FWA) Date: 11/8/2004 The Ministry for Competitiveness and Communications wishes to notify that the consultation period on proposed strategies for Digital Terrestrial Broadcasting, Third-Generation Mobile Telephony (UMTS) and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) launched on 15th July is being extended to Thursday 30th September 2004 instead of the previous Tuesday 31st August 2004. The Ministry would also like to emphasise that the deadline for comments and submissions regarding the New Regulatory Framework of Electronic Communications Markets and the subsidiary legislation called Electronic Communications Networks and Services (General), 2004 remains Thursday 19th August 2004. Comments and submissions on both Consultation Documents issued on 15th July are to reach the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Competitiveness and Communications, Casa Leoni, St Joseph High Road, Santa Venera , Fax No 21480083 or by e mail at info.mcmp@gov.mt by the specified dates
